This message completes Nehemiah 4 & 5 and talks about how to respond when discouraged as well as when we face injustice.

This message looks at chapter 3 and goes into chapter 4 of Nehemiah, where we see the benefits and blessings of unity and serving together in a local church, as well as the causes of discouragement--even when things are going well.  

This message walks through Nehemiah 2, and talks about having vision.  God gave Nehemiah a vision, and then helped him prepare for it, and relay the vision to others.  In this message, we see how God allows us to have vision for our lives, family, and ministry, and the steps necessary to begin the process of carrying out the vision.

This message walks through the first chapter of Nehemiah, as we see Nehemiah's personal response to a desperate situation.  We draw parallels from Nehemiah's response to our personal lives as we walk through the desperation situations that we find ourselves and our world in.

This message introduces the book of Nehemiah, and why it is important to study it and apply it's truths to our lives.  We all face situations where we feel we are "broken down" and need "rebuilding", and we can learn from Nehemiah on how we can move forward in our lives.

This message talks about the need for physical and spiritual rest.

This message, taken from Matthew 9, reminds us that we are to have a heart like Jesus...to have compassion for the lost as He did.

In this message, we finish our look at I Kings 19, which gives steps on how Elijah could overcome his depression, and how we can apply these to our lives.  Due to technical difficulties, a recording of the previous message in this series, given on August 6, is not available.  Our apologies.

This message is the first of two concerning the depression that Elijah battled in I Kings 19.  In this message, we look at the causes of depression in his life, and make parallels to how we can battle depression in our lives.  (Due to technical difficulties, the message preached on July 16, which describes Elijah's victory over the prophets of Baal,  was not recorded.  Our sincere apologies.)

This message is the first of two concerning the confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal in I Kings 18.  This message focuses on the futility of putting your trust in anything else other than in Almighty God, and the fact that we must make a choice of Whom we will serve.
