Big Dumb Sports Podcast S1E8 - CeeDee Caught 17, the Refs Caught a Suspension -

The Cowboys won a game, which this season is the sports equivalent of finding a $20 bill in last year’s coat. Dallas beat the still-winless Texans 34–30 on a CeeDee Lamb late score after trailing by 10 at the half, Javonte Williams ran for three touchdowns, and on defense Deron Bland treated coverage like a suggestion. We graded the good, the bad, and the “please don’t do that against Tampa on Thursday night.” Then the league suspended two officials for being officials out loud: line judge Jeff Seeman got two games for swearing at Trey McBride on camera, and referee Adrian Hill got one for yelling at a Viking who was trying to help him up. We also did a little Rangers, which immediately turned into a civil war over the all-time greatest Rangers list, because nothing ends a friendship like Ivan Rodriguez versus somebody’s uncle’s favorite second baseman. The Mavs are in China warming up for a 2026 regular-season debut that still feels like a rumor. We closed with Friday night in Lamar County — Paris, Chisum, and Prairiland — and a look at whoever North Lamar drew next, which is either a football preview or a warning label.
