Jesus said we should love our neighbor as ourselves. What does it mean to take that to the streets literally by loving those around us where we live, work, and play? What does it mean for us as a church to love our neighborhood and join God in His work in the midst of our city?

Why do we care about our neighborhood at all? Jesus summarized all of the law and the prophets in what has come to be called the Great Commandment; to love God with all of who we are and love our neighbors as ourselves. He then left a final mission – known as the Great Commission – with His followers to make disciples of all nations. What does it mean to bring together the Great Commission and the Great Commandment in our individual lives and as a church?
