Sunday 13th April – Jon Carlise preaches from Mark 11:1-11. On Palm Sunday, Jesus deliberately entered Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy and making a statement of kingship. This humble arrival contrasted with earthly power. Though hailed as king, the crowds misunderstood his sacrificial mission. Ultimately, this humble King will be exalted, but only after his ultimate act of humility – his death on the cross.
