Sunday 11th January – Huw Hadden preaches from Revelation 7. If the eternal future has a diverse church then a united diverse church in the present will both flourish and point to that glorious reality. Unity in difference glorifies God more than unity alone. This can be achieved through gospel hospitality and relationships rooted in Christ.

After Huw preached, the people above shared about a few of the many forms of diversity he mentioned and how they can flourish in church life. Topics covered were women in church, adoptive families, people with neurodiversity and welcoming/forming relationships with those not originally from England.

Sunday 4th January - Dave Rogers starts our new mini-series calling the church to prioritise wholehearted worship as its foundation for 2026. Worship is a communal, physical participation that re-centres believers on God’s worth, teaching biblical theology and propelling the congregation into daily service and lives of grace.

Sunday 7th December - Dan Roach preaches our last in the We Believe series from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The sermon focused on the resurrection of the dead, the Christian's sure hope. Believers can grieve with hope because Christ's return means the dead rise first, and death is swallowed up in victory.

Sunday 30th November - Mick Taylor preaches from 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

Communion, or the Lord's Supper, is a symbolic meal that is more than remembrance. It is an empowering encounter defined by four aspects: remembrance of Christ, proclamation of his death, anticipation of his return, and participation (fellowship) with Christ and believers.

Sunday 23rd November – Joe Greenhalgh preaches from Romans 6:1-11. This sacrament, symbolizing union with Christ's death and resurrection, is an ongoing, vital sign. It reminds believers they are dead to sin and raised to a new life in Jesus. Does our self-talk align with the truth that baptism represents?

Sunday 16th November – Dan Roach preaches from Ephesians 5:25-27. We believe in the church, Jesus's beloved bride, who he sanctifies and cleanses. Though imperfect now, she will be presented in splendour. Christians must overcome individualism and cynicism to love and serve the church as Christ does. Jesus loves the church - how do you feel about it?

Sunday 9th November – Mark Mould preaches from 1 Corinthians 1:11. Spiritual gifts are diverse tools distributed by the Holy Spirit for the common good and building up the church. They make God's people distinctive. Christians must eagerly desire them and embrace their role, recognizing God's generous grace.
