Sk: Bratislavské Staré Mesto sa kúpalo v jarnom slnku.
En: Bratislava’s Staré Mesto was bathed in the spring sun.

Sk: Bol to Veľkonočný pondelok, a ulice boli plné ľudí.
En: It was Easter Monday, and the streets were full of people.

Sk: Na námestí sa konal pouličný jarmok.
En: A street fair was being held in the square.

Sk: Všetko krúžilo okolo tradícií, jedla a hudby.
En: Everything revolved around traditions, food, and music.

Sk: Medzi stáničkami medzi ručne vyrobenými kraslicami maľovanými pestrofarebnými, ručne pletenými korbáčikmi a vône sachroví sa prechádzal Miroslav.
En: Among the stalls with handmade and brightly painted Easter eggs, hand-braided whips, and the aroma of sachrový sweets, Miroslav walked through.

Sk: Miroslav bol mladý muž, ktorý si niekedy rád zachoval odstup.
En: Miroslav was a young man who sometimes liked to keep his distance.

Sk: Avšak, jeho láska k histórii a kultúre ho poháňala v tejto chvíli.
En: However, his love for history and culture drove him at this moment.

Sk: Chcel napísať článok pre kultúrny časopis o miestnych tradíciách a tento jarmok bol pre neho plný inšpirácie.
En: He wanted to write an article for a cultural magazine about local traditions, and this fair was full of inspiration for him.

Sk: Ale tiež vedel, že ak chce skutočne porozumieť tradíciám, bude musieť hovoriť s ľuďmi.
En: But he also knew that if he really wanted to understand the traditions, he would have to talk to people.

Sk: Myslenka ho trochu desila.
En: The thought was a bit intimidating for him.

Sk: Na druhej strane, Katarína, energická študentka antropológie, bola zaujatá ľuďmi.
En: On the other hand, Katarína, an energetic anthropology student, was fascinated by people.

Sk: Z mapka v ruke a zapisníkom pod pažou, rozhliadala sa po námestí.
En: With a map in hand and a notebook under her arm, she looked around the square.

Sk: Hľadala niekoho, kto by jej mohol povedať viac o veľkonočných zvykoch pre jej diplomovú prácu.
En: She was searching for someone who could tell her more about Easter customs for her thesis.

Sk: Ale bolo ťažké nájsť niekoho, kto bol ochotný a zároveň malý čas.
En: But it was hard to find someone who was willing and had the time at the same time.

Sk: Obaja si navzájom všimli.
En: They noticed each other.

Sk: Miroslav si všimol jej zapisovanie poznámok vedľa jedného stánku.
En: Miroslav noticed her taking notes next to one of the stalls.

Sk: Katarína zas uvidela jeho kameru a zvedavý pohľad.
En: Katarína, in turn, saw his camera and curious look.

Sk: Bola to situácia, ktorou by sa mohla navzájom doplniť.
En: It was a situation where they could complement each other.

Sk: Miroslav zhlboka sa nadýchol, a odhodlal sa.
En: Miroslav took a deep breath and made up his mind.

Sk: „Ahoj,“ oslovil Katarínu trochu nesmelo.
En: “Hi,” he addressed Katarína somewhat shyly.

Sk: „Robíte si poznámky o veľkonočných tradíciách? Možno by sme si mohli pomôcť navzájom.“
En: “Are you taking notes on Easter traditions? Maybe we could help each other.”

Sk: Katarína sa pozrela na mladého muža s úsmevom.
En: Katarína looked at the young man with a smile.

Sk: „Áno, práve to robím. A pomohla by mi spolupráca.
En: “Yes, that's exactly what I’m doing. And collaboration would help me.

Sk: Vyzerá to, že aj ty sa o to zaujímaš.“
En: It seems you’re interested in it too.”

Sk: Spoločnými silami začali pracovať.
En: Together, they began to work.

Sk: Hovorili s miestnymi, počúvali ich príbehy a zhromažďovali informácie.
En: They talked to locals, listened to their stories, and gathered information.

Sk: Ich práca, však, dostala nový rozmer, keď sa ocitli uprostred tradičnej veľkonočnej vodnej bitky – "šibačky".
En: Their work, however, took on a new dimension when they found themselves in the middle of a traditional Easter water fight – "šibačka."

Sk: Ľudia všade naokolo sa smiali, striekali vodou a obaja museli nájsť spôsob, ako zachytiť tento okamih, bez toho, aby ich aparáty dostali "kúpeľ".
En: People all around were laughing, splashing water, and both had to find a way to capture the moment without their equipment getting "a bath."

Sk: Keď sa deň chýlil ku koncu, Miroslav a Katarína sa posadili na lavičku, unavení ale spokojní.
En: As the day was drawing to a close, Miroslav and Katarína sat down on a bench, tired but satisfied.

Sk: Napísali všetko, čo sa dozvedeli.
En: They wrote down everything they had learned.

Sk: Miroslav cítil, že je pripravený písať svoj článok.
En: Miroslav felt ready to write his article.

Sk: Katarína mala svoj materiál na obohatenie diplomovej práce.
En: Katarína had material to enrich her thesis.

Sk: „Myslím, že sme to zvládli,“ povedal Miroslav s úsmevom, už oveľa sebaistije.
En: “I think we did it,” Miroslav said with a smile, much more confident now.

Sk: „Dokázali sme to spolu.“
En: “We managed it together.”

Sk: „Áno,“ prikývla Katarína.
En: “Yes,” Katarína nodded.

Sk: „Spolupráca je niekedy lepšia, než robiť všetko sám.“
En: “Sometimes cooperation is better than doing everything alone.”

Sk: A tak sa dohodli, že budú spolupracovať aj na ďalších projektoch o kultúrnych tradíciách Slovenska.
En: And so they agreed to collaborate on more projects about Slovakia’s cultural traditions.

Sk: Miroslav sa naučil viac dôverovať svojim schopnostiam komunikovať, zatiaľ čo Katarína ocenila silu tímovej práce.
En: Miroslav learned to trust his communication skills more, while Katarína appreciated the power of teamwork.

Sk: Bratislava ich spojila a obohatila ich nielen o vedomosti, ale aj nové priateľstvo.
En: Bratislava brought them together and enriched them not only with knowledge but also with a new friendship.
