Hr: Sunce je sjalo kroz prozore velike obiteljske kuće, a miris proljeća ispunjavao je zrak.
En: The sun shone through the windows of the large family house, and the scent of spring filled the air.

Hr: Cvijeće je ukrašavalo stolove, a šarena jaja čekala su djecu koja će sudjelovati u lovu na uskršnja jaja.
En: Flowers adorned the tables, and colorful eggs awaited the children who would participate in the Easter egg hunt.

Hr: Bilo je Uskrsno jutro, i Maja, marljiva majka u kasnim četrdesetima, bila je u punom pogonu.
