Eastgate Teaching

In this message Mark Hendley unpacks the clarion call to freedom and how to remain free.

Donna King teaches from Galatians 5. As Christians we don't have to fight for our freedom, Jesus has already achieved that freedom for us. Do we live free and are we willing to fight to maintain that freedom both individually and together as the body of Christ.

Dave Carter teaches from Galatians 4:8-20 that we are free in Christ. Don't become slaves again to weak and miserable principles. Be powerful and joyful, remember who you are!

David Webster teaches from Galatians 4:21-31 where Paul continues to make his argument to the Galatians about pursuing freedom in the gospel, not slavery that comes from being under the law. He contrasts Hagar the slave woman with Sarah the free woman.

Dave Carter teaches that we are all one in Christ. The cross has not removed diversity, it has removed division. He explores the wonderful united diversity of the children of God.

Jesus came so that we could be children of God and also Heirs. Rob Schulz uses the parable of the lost son to show how only the Father truly knows who His children are: His sons, daughters and heirs. We are who HE says we are.

Pete Carter teaches that God places the same value on every one of us without distinction. However, we are all different and have different gifts. We are equal but different.

Mark Gilpin asks 'How does God work in us and through us?' and 'How can we believe in what He is doing?'.

Joaquin Evans preaches from Ezekiel 47 which talks about the river of God bringing life wherever it flows. How does this apply to everyday life?

Joaquin Evans encourages us to enter into God's presence with confidence rather than wait outside. If we are waiting for God to come we are waiting in the wrong place.
