God is the very definition of beauty, from the world he created to Jesus' sacrificial love on the cross. Beauty draws us in, as it captures the human imagination, especially through the arts. As a result, artists are often very influential in a society. With that in mind, our desire is to promote the arts for a couple of reasons: First, beauty in and of itself is a reflection of the character and nature of God. Second, the arts break down barriers for us to further the Kingdom of God.

The big question in the Christian life is how to settle the restlessness in our souls. In the midst of a “hurry, hurry” world, we need to help one another find rest in a restlessness. Jesus is the only one that promises true rest. As we push one another to follow Jesus, we remind each other of the rest that he promises!

No one is an island. To grow in Christ we need each other. While a personal relationship with Jesus is vital, we also need others to speak into our lives so that we can grow in ways that would not happen alone.
