But, as someone who really struggles emotionally when debating or arguing I can really struggle to completely answer. I get really sad when someone doesn't believe in God and really anxious and overwhelmed when challenged by others. Yesterday, I was trying to help someone and then two of his other atheist friends all came and I was just really struggling. How do I help this?

There was a point during this time where I thought death would be better than my current state of life. During these few years I despised god I didn't read my bible I didn't really go to church and I wanted nothing to do with god. I finished chemo in 2024 and over the last year and a half I've tried so hard to love god again and I'm getting better at it but deep down I'm still partly angry at god and can't fully forgive him. Is this okay? What steps should I take next? How can I love God and not blame him for my Cancer?

In week three of our “This Is Us” series, Boys Small Groups Pastor Dusty Sargent looks at Jesus washing His disciples’ feet and what it means to be served by Jesus—and how being served by Him calls us to serve others. Dusty also interviews two high school students about their experiences serving in the church and how it has shaped their faith.

In Week 2 of our This Is Us series, Matt Fogle, Eastview’s Spiritual Formation Pastor and former High School Pastor, takes us through Ephesians to explore what it means to be people who are deeply loved by God. When we stay connected to the God of love, we are shaped to love others well. Matt closes by challenging us to stand firm in that love as he walks us through the armor of God.

In our new series, This Is Us, we’re talking about the kind of people we want to become. This week, Junior High Pastor Matt McClane takes us to John 4 and the story of the woman at the well, reminding us that we are fully known by our Creator—and deeply loved by Him. Because we are known by God, we’re called to be people who help others feel known, seen, and valued too.

At our August Worship Night, Spiritual Formation Pastor Matt Fogle takes us to Ephesians and reminds us that we were created for good works and called to be sent. Because of God’s grace, we don’t have to play it safe—we can live with boldness, take risks for the sake of the Gospel, and step into our schools as people sent to make a difference

In the final week of our Storyteller series, former Eastview HSM student and small group leader John Tofte walks us through Jesus’ parable of the unforgiving debtor in Matthew 18. Through this story, we’re reminded of the incredible forgiveness we’ve received from God—and challenged to extend that same forgiveness to others.

Zach continues our Storyteller series by unpacking Jesus' parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector in Luke 18. Discover how this powerful story challenges us to let go of pride, stop judging others, and come before God with humble hearts that recognize our need for His grace.
