Was Witch Queen a fluke?: A Destiny 2 Lightfall Review by Alex and Elijah

A solo episode finds you all this week and we have a lighter news week to go over as we discuss Elden Ring selling over 20 million units. An update about the Call of Duty game that will continue Modern Warfare 2's story. The new podcast launched on VGC had some important news to share pertaining to Konami being at E3 in a major way. A WB earnings call showed that a mainline Mortal Kombat game could be coming very soon. I break down the PlayStation State of Play that happened and Blum house, the incredible movie publisher, is opening a gaming division to seemingly test the waters. DICE seems to be opening a single-player team to ensure they can actually make single-player campaigns in their games. Hogwarts sells incredibly in its first two weeks and some Atomic Heart drama. Hogwarts Legacy is a game we can finally move on from as both the attempts to bully others into not playing it and the actual boycott itself seem to fail overwhelmingly. I for one am happy we can stop talking about this particular subject and move on to things that are far more important in our industry. Of course, this is not to diminish anyone's thoughts or feelings on this matter it's just we have much greater problems in our industry that need addressing. Now on that note, the composer of Atomic Heart donated his fee to the red cross so we discuss if Atomic Heart may be the next game to receive the ire of the games industry. The PSVR2 review embargo is up and it seems to not be particularly exciting to many. New rumors of new headsets for PS5 coming our way. Game Pass is shockingly not selling more games when games are being added to game pass. That particular story was surprising to hear so many people surprised by that. And much more of course as I say every week thank you to everyone that supports the channel this has been a great month for growth and sustainability. I had a great time talking with Daniel Prindle aka DanisDTM from Podcast PXN. We talk about a multitude of things but what was most interesting is the seemingly endless failings and closing of multiple Games as a Service titles and unannounced projects at multiple studios. Hey Achievers! I wanted to start off by wishing everyone a Happy New Year. I hope this video finds everyone well. I wanted to do a full test of my new setup for the podcast, and I also wanted to use this as an excuse to talk about a game I see an incredibly small amount of dialogue on. Midnight Suns! Is this something you have had your eye on? I am about 30 hours into the game and loving it so far. What are your thoughts?

I have a solo episode for you to enjoy. I love this as they are much more intimate than a regular show. It does feel like we are having a discussion so please leave a comment if you have the time. We talk about some more drama around the Activision Blizzard deal as Microsoft tries to demonstrate they are willing to work with others to bring Call of Duty to other platforms. I cover lightly on the second Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcase and some PC issues with the Witcher 3 upgrade. Some light rumors around Naughty Dog making a third Last of Us game. Also Hideo Kojima may finally be able to make a movie as Death Stranding is going to be made into a movie or an additional story will be told in the Death Stranding story that is unclear. Alos Amazon has been busy ordering a God of War tv series and agreeing to publish a game with Crystal Dynamics which will be the Tomb Raider game that was announced in April.
