we all have times where we need to hit reset in our lives. when we realize we are veering too far from our most authentic expression of anything - from how we care for our bodies, what we like to wear, how we approach our work, etc...sometimes we just need to get back to the basics.
our natural reaction to discomfort is to resist it. in this episode, we talk about how to allow this feeling. instead of bypassing, numbing, or resisting something, what if we allowed the feeling to be there, and see where it leads us and wants to teach us?

in case you missed your easy a’s hosts, we are at it again. going forward we are going to put out episodes whenever it feels right and we will be keeping it short. for the past three months, we have been walking and talking (also known as walk and talks) every day and felt like we should share some of our insights, especially since we are all living out this more remote and isolated world. in this episode we chat about creative and fun things we do to feel better. we also want to let you know that you are beautiful, you look great today, and you are killing it at life!

when you hear the word "tarot" or "tarot cards", what do you think? for some, it may conjure images of a gypsy woman in a tent at a traveling carnival with a turban on her head and a crystal ball. as for us, we believe that tarot can both be a lot of FUN, and it can also be a powerful tool to help you tap into your own intuition. tune in an listen to our thoughts on tarot - how we use it, why we use it, what decks we like, how we go about asking questions and pulling cards, etc.
a few fantastic resources that we are particularly into...
--Biddy Tarot
--The Wild Unknown Tarot
--The Field Tarot

get ready to feel inspired to both give back to your community and to follow your dreams! meet brad and libby birky - the founders of the SAME Café in denver, colorado. SAME opened in 2006 as a non-profit community café allowing its customers to pay what they can afford for their meal, or volunteer their time in exchange for a meal. food justice has been something that brad and libby have been passionate about for a long time, but the idea for SAME was born on a flight in 2003, and over the course of the next 3 years, brad and libby tweaked the idea, went to culinary school, and ultimately borrowed money from their retirement accounts to make this dream a reality. SAME has served more than 200,000 meals to community members since 2006, and today in addition to the original space, they have expanded to a food truck and are also opening a new location in toledo, ohio.
