I skim through a few recent albums, including stuff from Carly Rae Jepsen, Frankie Cosmos, and Bruce Springsteen. I also express some dismay for a new Luke Bryan single and share a few country artists that are way better than him and his worthless garbage.

Rob presents Felix with a bracket of rap songs that he's loved over the last 30 years or so. And Felix picks winners until we have a new contender for reigning champ. Plus, some talk about what we've been listening to—Fable Cry & Lana Del Rey—and what we're gonna listen to soon—Demi Lovato & Open Mike Eagle.
Songs in this bracket in no particular order:
Lupe Fiasco - "Words I Never Said"
Kanye West - "Monster" & "Power"
Open Mike Eagle - "Cobra Commander"
Immortal Technique - "The 3rd World"
Geto Boys - "Yes, Yes, Y'all"
Luniz - "I Got 5 On It"
Warren G - "Regulate"
Busdriver - "Me Time"
Goodie Mob - "Cell Therapy"
Eazy-E - "Real Muthaphuckkin G's"
Kendrick Lamar - "Backseet Freestyle"
Blackstreet - "No Diggity"
By the way, this kid's about as tall as me now. He's handled all this COVID school stuff like a champ. And he's making some cool music himself. Really proud of him.

Look, that's just a title and a basic subject for this bracket. I went with only solo artists, and I didn't include everyone I could have while also including people I probably shouldn't have. But I gave some thought to each musician and song I chose.
And then Felix got to pick the winners round by round.
