Inspired by the standing sushi bars in Tokyo, the original branch of Standing Sushi Bar opened in August 2009. It has since evolved over the past 15 years, but still continues to attract loyal diners. Cheryl Goh and Chew Wui Lynn speak Howard Lo, Owner of the Empire Eats restaurant group which includes Standing Sushi Bar, to found out more about the restaurant's journey.
