About MXPX: MxPx is a punk rock band from Bremerton, Washington founded in 1992 as Magnified Plaid. The band consists of Mike Herrera on lead vocals and bass, Tom Wisniewski on guitar and backing vocals, and Yuri Ruley on drums.

Although the guys refer to the band name fondly as “very Jersey,” it denotes Pagels‘s name and the fact that The George Washington Memorial Parkway connects the route between their Northern Virginia homes; Pagels lives in Alexandria, Russ lives in Arlington.

In this bonus episode, I’m chatting about the upcoming Bamboozle and Adjacent festivals hitting NJ this spring.

What prompted this episode was my attempt to buy Fall Out Boy tickets and all the live music coming this year, particularly the Adjacent and Bamboozle festivals coming to NJ. I find it odd that these two festivals are two weeks apart and are both being held in Atlantic City, NJ. This was such a coincidence or was it?
