Repentance is necessary to take the Lord's Supper in a worthy manner. It's impossible for us to celebrate all that the Supper is while holding onto the very same sins that nailed Christ to the cross in the first place. There must be a true and godly repentance in order to enjoy the sweetness of Christ's grace.
