He talks about the incredible sense of togetherness that followed 9/11 and how many young people today never got to experience that feeling firsthand. Dan also reflects on the anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s death and what it means to remember his life and impact. He shares his perspective on why Marc-on welcomes everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, political affiliation, or background. Dan believes firearms and education should be accessible to everyone who wants to learn. He also gives a little update from his recent cruise and sends a special shoutout to his travel agent, Dana. New superintendent Brad Saron takes the reigns of thepodcast and with a new school year beginning, he chats with school board vice president Peggy McKillip.  The school hasa responsibility to met and exceed expectations from the community, and that is a focus of emphasis for the district with the Community Conversations Design Team.  This is an initiative the board has brought back with the goal of providing more guidance on what priorities the district needs to focus on.
