Have you considered the power of narrative?  Depending on how you measure (apparently it’s more complicated than I realized when I tried to find a solid number), at least 40% and as much as 75% of the Scriptures is narrative!  Our faith is not a static state of being!  We all have our own personal story to tell about God’s work in our lives, as well as the greater story of redemption from the Scriptures!

This Sunday, you are going to be sharing the 2 sentence version of your story of salvation with someone else in the service.  This is a powerful exercise!  Get your story ready and honed in to be shared to encourage someone else in our church family this Sunday.  I’m always looking forward to Sunday, but I’m especially excited to try this idea this Sunday.  We’ll see what happens!
