We are doing our best to find ways to relate the teaching of our Gospel Project teaching to the corporate worship service on Sunday mornings.  Well, this Sunday, we have a lot of content dealing with sin.  Come at 9 AM, get involved in a class, and let’s have the overflow of our appreciation for that teaching lead us into loud praise to Christ, our King!

Are you participating in the Gospel Project?  The next three years are bound to be an amazing opportunity to get our entire church family on the same page concerning the overall message of the Bible: the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I think we’re also going to find a lot of beauty in the many ways God reveals Himself through the whole testimony of the scriptures.  Come learn the Bible, and worship God better because you did!

Sunday morning is going to include a lot of Gospel Project related content for the next few years.  Tomorrow, let’s think about Jesus’ excellent victory of the grave, and sing hallelujah together, praising the Son of Man, our Champion over Satan, sin and death!  Forever (We Sing Hallelujah)

One Purpose Weekend was just amazing.  To be united with such a great number of Emmanuel people was unforgettable.  Check out the Heritage Hallway for some new additions!

We are all set for the Gospel Project!  I can’t wait to join the whole church in the teaching of God’s Word to grow in the knowledge of Him.  This is going to be awesome!

Another Weekly Worship Midweek Special is going out to all you good folks out there, reminding you that One Purpose Weekend is less than 2 days away!  Friday at 5:30 pm, Emmanuel gathers together at the church building to fellowship, share in godly affection, and get some good teaching and worship times.  Let’s do this!

Surprise!  It’s a Weekly Worship Midweek Special!  As a rule, we don’t take ourselves too seriously here on Weekly Worship, so with that in mind, please enjoy this surprise episode!

Counting down to One Purpose Weekend, Austin presents 3 generations of Crawfords with 3 days to go until One Purpose Weekend!  Look, I’m just happy to be here, but…

Roger Crawford is a Senior In Ministry, having faithfully served in pastoral ministry for many years, and now continuing to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve the Church in his retirement from full-time pastoral ministry.

Pastor Duke Crawford is just some random guy with a good speaking voice…

…and Austin M. Crawford (also sometimes just called “Austy”, apparently) is,well, me… the Director of Worship and Youth Discipleship and I’ve been serving Emmanuel in that capacity for… 7 months!

Put them together, and you have 3 generations of the Crawford family, all presenting workshops at One Purpose Weekend, in 3 days!

Psalm 145:4: “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”   I am absolutely grateful for Papa and Nana’s faithful declaration of God’s mightiest act, the gospel, to Dad and his siblings.  Hey, this is a worship principle!  We’ve got to pass the glorious gospel to the next generation, with the knowledge that they will one day do the same.  Let’s “have done with lesser things; give heart and mind and soul and strength to serve the King of Kings” (William Pierson Merrill, “Rise Up O Men of God“) ,right?  Keep your family close to God’s heart, filled with His Word, and serving His Church.  Our family is far from perfect, but for 3 generations the gospel has been declared from one to the next.  Thanks for being faithful, Papa!  We can’t wait to have you at One Purpose Weekend!
