At the same time, the courage of the Hebrew midwives, who feared God and refused to obey Pharaoh’s evil command, calls God’s people to engage—to actively stand for righteousness even in dangerous circumstances. This chapter reminds us that God’s deliverance often begins quietly, through faithful obedience and moral courage, and that when we recognize Him as our help, we are empowered to engage boldly in His purposes, trusting that no oppression can cancel His promise.
