Where we spend too much time focussing on the bad things we do, or worrying about what's happening around us, let's get into the habit of making prayer a lifestyle. Let's rather trust in Jesus completely in every situation!

Just as Moses and Aaron worked together in speaking to Pharaoh, so do we have a special working role in God's Kingdom. Let's make sure we're where He wants us to be and doing the best we can for Him!

God provides a place of safety in which we can dwell. We can rest in His perfect peace knowing that He hears our prayers.

Whenever the task seems too difficult and the opposition is too great, remember that God says not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit! In Zechariah we read about the troubles the returning exiled Jews faced in rebuilding the temple, but their focus was upward - not inward or what was happening around them - but on God!

"What must I do to be saved?" - Is your light shining for somebody to ask you this question? Let's be ready to answer for our witness: one way, Jesus!

Today we're looking at Nahum. The city of Ninevah has fallen back into sin not even 100 years after Jonah, and God calls Nahum. There are 3 important points we can find when looking into Nahum's dealings with Ninevah.

God has promised to provide for us. Just as the Israelites in the desert had bread from Heaven, so will He provide for us in our wilderness. Let's make sure we have faith!
