                                                                          • Training over prophesying: A good marriage is built on learning and training. A pastor cannot lay hands on you to instantly make you a good wife.
                                                                          • Unlearn to relearn: You must intentionally unlearn toxic traits (e.g., poor conflict resolution, lying, cultural habits that oppose biblical marriage) and actively relearn godly character.
                                                                          • Never unpackage after the wedding: During courtship, women put their best foot forward, they dress well, smell good, and speak kindly. Do not abandon these efforts once you get the ring. Be intentional about your physical appearance and how you present yourself at home.
