When Jesus entered Jerusalem, He began a course that altered the western world. We all desire to make a difference in our city. The question is how? The answer may be surprising. Today we will see that in order to see change in our culture we must first be willing to see change in ourselves.

For people like us who have been burned by false hope, people who feel like we're living our lives between the heartbreak of Friday's crucifixion and the longed-for joy that comes with Easter Sunday, people who need more than empty platitudes or blind optimism, Jesus Himself brings us hope that will never let us down.

There is simply no one like our God. Not even close...by far! Yet we embark on a series to talk about this God, His attributes, and who He is to us. Humbly. We live in a culture where nothing is sacred, so we begin where this journey must: by exploring the holiness of God.

When Paul stood on Mars Hill and spoke to the ancient Greeks, he had good news for them... and for us; The unknown God can be known! In fact, God fiercely wants us to know him. But how do we know this is true? And if it is, what does that mean for us?

There's few things that more quickly reveal what we really put our trust in than when a storm hits. The fact that God is in control of everything brings mixed emotions if you're not sure of where that control comes from. Does it come from a place of a uninterested God? A God that's far away? A God that's evil? Or what if it comes from a place of love? If we can trust a God that's loving then we can trust in His control, no matter what life throws at you.
