-Status: Whose team are you on?

-Practicality: Belt used to tuck cloak to move freely

-Symbol: Poised and Ready

-Be careful not to use the Belt of Truth as a weapon.

-"If Pride is an overabundance of confidence, then insecurity is an under amount of trust."

-Pride and Insecurity = Apathy → leads us back to Egypt (bondage)

-Inaction doesn’t move us forward—it drifts us back to Egypt. Ultimately leaving us alone, back to isolation, and back to bound."

Sometimes we dress Jesus in outfits He never wore—branding Him based on our disappointment, expectations, or pain. But the real Jesus doesn’t need a rebrand—He just wants to be remembered as He truly is: Savior, King, and Friend.

“He’s beautiful and distant—probably too busy.”

Palm Sunday was more than a parade—it was a declaration of identity, authority, and surrender. Discover how Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem reveals not just who He is, but who we are in response.

-We're created to worship- It’s not ok to allow the rocks to do our job!

BAD BUT COMMON BRAND (False brand)

-A Friend who loves but never convicts.

-A Messiah who serves but never leads.

-A King who blesses but never corrects.

BIG IDEA-“Jesus will not be branded as a pushover. Instead, He is the One who pushes through our expectations, desires, and self-serving nature.”

Questions:

BRANDING JESUS into a better way:

Neglect → Justice – Practice justice and love for God. (Micah 6:8)

Pride → Humility – Seek to serve rather than be honored. (Philippians 2:3)

Corruption → Integrity – Be pure in heart and actions. (Psalm 24:4)

Burden → Compassion – Help others instead of weighing them down. (Galatians 6:2)

Hypocrisy → Sincerity – Live authentically in faith and action. (Romans 12:9)

Obstruction → Guidance – Lead people to truth, not away from it. (Matthew 5:16)
