Peter shows us three things we need to understand in order to effectively communicate the Gospel: 1. The Opportunity 2. The Audience 3. The gospel itself – the deeper your understanding, the better.

Living close to Jesus and walking close to people will present regular opportunities for sharing the gospel.

Being an effective witness for Jesus Christ boils down to 2 things; a deep, personal understanding of the gospel (“content”) and the ability to communicate that message to people we talk to (“presentation”).

When we are saved, the Holy Spirit immerses Himself into our lives. When we are baptized into the Holy Spirit, we are immersed into His life.

The original Upper Room experience of the Christians at Pentecost is not an event for duplication but a reality for perpetuation.

The disciples sought God’s will through prayer, scripture, and humble submision to God’s Kingdom purposes.

Jesus will supply power to each of His witnesses for telling people everywhere about the Good News of God's Kingdom.
