On palm Sunday we continue to explore the last week of Jesus life. Jesus is for our city and so are we. We have a part to play, we need to be for the things that Jesus is for. If we're going to leverage everything God's given us, our city should reflect that. We learn that there is no greater symbol of the Gospel than serving other people.

If we're truthful and look at our lives we see that we've fallen short and scripture lets us know that. God's word lets us know that we're all on level ground, we're all equal in the sense that we've messed up. Romans 3:23 NIV "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". The good news: that's not the final word, Jesus had something else to say about this.

At some point in our lives, we've all felt like an outsider. In this series, we're going to take a look at the last week of Jesus's life, and we're going to see in a more heightened and highlighted way what Jesus is all about. Jesus is for Outsiders.

We learn that our highest potential reach and our greatest satisfaction is when the creation is used in accordance with its design.

Too often we look at relationships and try to see what we can take from them. When we can't find our significance in Christ we start searching for it in someone else.

As pastor Joe wraps up this will series continue to look at Luke 2:52 - have you ever been in a season of life that you wish you could just skip past? Small steps now will lead to big change later.

As we continue to unpack Luke 2:52 we learn that we are better together. Proverbs 3:3 "Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart." Outwardly, inwardly, you need kindness and truth. It needs to be outwardly shown and inwardly sewn into our lives.

Echo Life Church turns 1 year old. Psalm 115:1 "Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness." Grow: to progress, to advance, to move forward. That's the call for this church to move forward, because those that stay in the past never have much of a future.
