"Echoes of Fleetwood" Sound art by Fly Curran
Experience the essential sounds of a Fleetwood walk by the sea.
This sound installation by artist Fly Curran has resulted from a series of mixed media workshops lead by Dr Rob Mullender -Ross for the Market House Studios “Pride & Place” Project funded by UKSPF.
These workshops engaged participants in building a sense of place through sound recording, listening, narrative and composition and weaving them into stories, impressions, histories, textures etc; creating works which build a sense of place through sound.
This particular sound installation was exhibited last November in Fleetwood Market.
These workshops where part of the Studios "Pride & Place Project" funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
