Hr: Usred srpnja sunce je nemilosrdno peklo na ruševinama Dubrovnika.
En: In the middle of July, the sun mercilessly scorched the ruins of Dubrovnik.

Hr: Grad je jedva podsjećao na svoje prošle dane slave.
En: The city barely resembled its past days of glory.

Hr: Nekada prometne ulice sada su bile tihe; jedino što se moglo čuti bio je povremeni šum misterioznog signala koji je prolazio zrakom.
