Sk: Zasnežený deň sa schyľoval k podvečeru, keď Marek, Zuzana a Jozef stúpali po úzkej ceste smerom k starým zrúcaninám hradu.
En: A snowy day was turning towards evening as Marek, Zuzana, and Jozef climbed up the narrow path toward the old ruins of the castle.

Sk: Každý ich krok sprevádzalo škrípajúce zarážanie snehových kryštálov.
En: Each of their steps was accompanied by the crunching of snow crystals.

Sk: Dostali sa k miestu, kde stáli starobylé steny, ktoré aj napriek vetru a chladu stále niesli ducha minulých čias.

Sk: Marekov zrak sa iskril, zatiaľ čo Zuzana zamračene kontrolovala čas na hodinkách.

Sk: „Hrad ukrýva tajomstvá, ale nepoznaný nie je vždy bezpečný,“ povedal hlbokým hlasom, z ktorého bolo cítiť váhu rokov strávených obranou jedného konkrétneho tajomstva.
En: "The castle holds secrets, but the unknown isn’t always safe," he said with a deep voice, laden with the weight of years spent guarding one particular secret.

Sk: Odpoveď jej dal Marek, ktorý z ničoho nič upadol do jamy.

Sk: „Našiel som niečo!

Sk: “ zakričal, zdanlivo ignorujúc nebezpečenstvo.
