The team knew they needed to go back.
After their first night inside a historic Macon home left more questions than answers, Carrie Genzel, spiritual medium Morrighan Lynne, and lead investigator Jonathan Morgan return to find out what is really happening inside the house.
Almost immediately, they reconnect with Mandalynn. But this time, the young girl seems frightened, and her responses suggest the team may not be alone with the spirits they encountered before.
As the communication continues, Morrighan identifies what she believes are three non-human beings inside the house. One appears to give the team a name: Samson.
Upstairs, the atmosphere changes. Communication begins to shut down, and Morrighan believes the entities have realized what the team is doing and are deliberately preventing the other spirits from speaking.
What happens next takes the investigation somewhere none of them expected.
Morrighan and Jonathan begin a clearing, and something inside the house begins to shift. With the darker presence seemingly gone, the team turns its attention back to Mandalynn and the woman upstairs, uncovering what may be keeping them there and offering them the opportunity to finally leave.
In Echoes Explained, Carrie, Morrighan, and Jonathan revisit evidence from both investigations, including an unexplained knock no one heard at the time, unusual footage captured by Jonathan’s XLS camera, evidence discovered only during review, and the energy work used during the clearing.
This time, the question isn't what the spirits are hiding from. It's whether the team can help them leave it behind.
