  • Why Do We Dream? Part 2: The Science Behind the Stories

We're back to answer the question that's been keeping us up at night — literally. This episode dives into the leading scientific theories on why our brains bother to dream at all. We'll explore why your brain might be running nightly rehearsals for danger and awkward social situations, how "sleeping on it" might actually help you solve real problems, and one wild theory connecting your dreams to the rotation of the Earth itself. No easy answers here, just the best evidence science has so far. Welcome back to Echoes Within, where we uncover the vast secrets of our mind.

  • Biochemistry Part 1: The Oxygen Distributor

Biochemistry is the chemistry of living organisms at the atomic level. I know Biochemistry seems pretty hard, especially for kids who haven’t even studied chemistry, but they're both actually really enjoyable. In this episode, we will be discovering the simplest patterns in chemistry. We will be looking at a big protein called hemoglobin, which is responsible for carrying and distributing oxygen through the body. For the first half of this biochemistry series, we will be focusing on general chemistry. Then we will use the same principles to help guide us through wonderful biochemistry!

Come join me in this first step into chemistry, and let’s observe all the patterns that surface!

Side note: This is one of the few video episodes that we will be doing, so don’t forget to keep your phone out!
