This is an interesting and difficult episode episode if I say so myself. As you will hear Howard Hughes prompts us to query what is an eccentric and at what point is eccentricity actually an illness? Hughes also provides a dark example of the power of wealth and the detriment this has on others.

Edith Sitwell was a poet, creative and eccentric performer. She also authored the book ‘English Eccentrics’ which, in part, is why I started this podcast so she is a very important person indeed!

I like cats, which is great because this episode includes cats… and dogs for you canine lovers out there. Francis Egerton was a man who also liked his animals and made sure they had the best of the best… unless of course they became roguish, then there would be trouble!
