Yes, I know. The title sounds very confusing. Tune in to understand why I called it "Strategic Equilibrium"!

This episode acts more like a concept-based chapter, where I'll be explaining what I learnt from achieving the balance between economic development/sustainability and environmental preservation. Since the shift towards tourism industry is a form of economic development in the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region, balancing this and environmental protection is key since tourism causes numerous impacts to the environment. 

There's only carbon emissions and waste/garbage in the environmental aspect? No way...

In this episode, I'll be listing out other environmental impacts that might be created or affected by the tourism industry aside from carbon emissions and waste. There'll be more interview recording reveals for this episode, so tune in to listen to some interviews! I'll also be explaining some impacts which I think are more important.

I will also be introducing a special link towards waste and carbon emissions, where by reducing waste using a specific method, more carbon emissions are generated.
