In this episode we are listening to Kahi Pacarro who is the executive director of the Hawaiian non-profit organization Sustainable coastlines. Kahi takes us through some of the local ocean pollution issues and the solutions that are considered to address them. In particular, he presents the project of using a trash water wheel to clean up the Ala Wai canal.
This is a great story to get some inspiration on the steps that Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii followed to turn their vision into a reality.
