Pato Kelesitse is the host of Sustain 267, an environmental podcast, which focuses on climate change and sustainable practices for Botswana and Africa. She also an environmentalist and was part of #CleanUpBW, a monthly clean-up project involving different communities in Greater-Gaborone Botswana. She joins us on EcovilleZW to discuss environmental reporting in the African media.

Rufaro is an environmentalist and is also working as a community development research officer at the African Youth Initiative on climate change Zimbabwe. She was recently in Nairobi Kenya, were she represented Zimbabwe at the Inaugural Nairobi Summer School on Climate Change. The conference which was attended virtually and physically by 700 people, from different parts of the world, aimed at enhancing advocacy on climate justice through younger activists.

On this episode we are joined by the Environmental Management Agency communications officer ,Joyce Chapungu.In our wide ranging interview, we discussed fire prevention ,pollution and protection of wetlands.

Faith Akewo is a waste-prenuer from Uganda.

She is the founder of Reform Africa a social venture that transforms plastic waste into sustainable, durable, waterproof bags and accessories.

She is also  assisting underprivileged school children with satchels.

Buyinza Morgan is an Organic Farmer from Uganda .He is working together with his community members to manage an organic garden ,that is assisting more than 120 people,in his village.

,Climate Finance & Sustainability Manager at the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe and also represented Zimbabwe at the Historic Paris Agreement on Climate Change in 2015

.She is giving us more insight into the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report (IPCC),released in August 2021.
