  • 20 Years of Multitool Madness | Kansept Chaos & the Return of the Mechanic Junior (EP 039) (Video)

In this chaotic, hilarious, and knife‑packed episode of EDC‑TV, Grant and Inky dive head‑first into the 20th Anniversary of Multitool.org — celebrating two decades of sharp objects, questionable decisions, and the greatest community of tool nerds on the planet.

Grant kicks things off with updates on the massive anniversary festivities: giveaways, discount codes, games, prizes, and special collaborations with Kansept Knives and other industry friends. If you haven’t joined the party yet, head over to forum.multitool.org and get involved — or reach out if your company wants to be part of the celebration.

From there, the boys go full‑tilt into knife talk, reviewing a lineup of wild blades sent in by Kansept for the anniversary. Grant shows off the Kansept Fenrir, complete with 80s camouflage scales and gold titanium liners — a knife that somehow manages to look like a smoking jacket and a gas‑station fever dream at the same time. Inky, naturally, volunteers to “inspect” it.

Next up is the Kansept Parr, a tiny fixed blade with a surprisingly capable CPM steel, a clever sheath (with a drain hole, thank you Kansept), and a pocket clip that may or may not eject the knife into your truck seat. Grant recounts the near‑miss that could’ve ended in a very awkward ER visit.

Then comes the monster: the Tenable Knives Bombur — a half‑pound pocket beast named after the famously hefty dwarf from The Hobbit. With frag‑pattern G10, a triangular thumb hole, and enough jimping to grip it with Teflon gloves in a butter factory, this knife is equal parts ridiculous and irresistible.

Finally, Grant reveals the main event: the official Multitool.org 20th Anniversary Swiss Army Knife, a reissue of the legendary “Special Mechanic” / “Mechanic Junior” — a model never officially released, originally made for Radio Shack’s Techline brand. It’s a tribute to the community, the collectors, and the 20‑year legacy of the world’s premier Swiss Army Knife resource.

It’s knives, jokes, nostalgia, and pure multitool madness — exactly what you expect from Grant and Inky.

  • Handle This! | Beginner's Guild eto Knife Handles & Tangs Explained | (EP 038) (Video)

    Knife nerds, buckle up!

Episode 038 of The Beginner’s Guide to Knives dives deep into one of the most misunderstood parts of knife design: handles and tangs.

Grant, Inky Chris, and Abe Elias (Diving Sparrow Knifeworks / Blade Magazine) break down everything from full tangs, hidden tangs, rat‑tail tangs, skeletonized handles, half tangs, and even the infamous no‑tang hollow‑handle survival knives of the Rambo era.

Along the way, we get gear talk, knife drops, accidental bloodshed, Maxpedition nostalgia, and the usual chaos you’ve come to expect from EDC‑TV.

If you’ve ever wondered why certain knives feel stronger, lighter, or more balanced, or what actually goes on inside the handle this episode is your crash course.
