This week we sat down with Lori Goodson, an assistant professor and core teaching skills assistant director in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and the assistant director of the Rural Education Center. She also heads the College of Education Summer STEM and STEAM academies.
In this episode we chat about the Summer STEM and STEAM academies, how they are put on, what they provide, and why they are so important to the Manhattan community and communities outside of Manhattan. STEM/STEAM provides a fun learning environment, it promotes important subject areas, and it helps strengthen our country, educationally. Enjoy!
