(English) Excerpts from Supreme Master Ching Hai’s lecture:c We humans look alike with some very basic instinct, but we develop differently even though we are all Buddhas, and we have Buddha nature. There's nothing but Buddha inside you and around you. Just like a cup put into the river--it just isolates some water in the river. That's all. As soon as the cup is removed or broken, it's the same like before. It has never been anything different than that. So now, the initiates are like the ones ...

(English) Excerpts from Supreme Master Ching Hai’s Lecture: 'm grateful to be here with you, among beautiful people. It's just that sometimes you don't know how beautiful you are. You try to pretend to be stupid, to be bad, but you're nice, you're really perfect. Nothing you do can change your perfection. One day you will realize that. Because we try too hard to be something else, to be someone else, and to please everyone else, we forget our perfection. I realize that and one day you too will ...

(Chinese) Sometimes when we meditate, we perceive beautiful children leaving us one by one. They're our bad qualities. Don't think that you're perceiving immortal children and feel reluctant to leave them. Sometimes they'll apologize and then say, "Good-bye," or "Your place is too hot. I can't stand it! I have to leave." Then you'll know that they're ghosts. They look very beautiful and delicate. Sometimes when you hear children shouting or crying, it's them, too. There're about six of them. Do you remember the ...
