He is more interested in our character than our possessions. In this new year there is more required of us and it’s up to us to choose to sit with ourselves and assess. Hey family ! Thanks so much for joining on my podcast. This episode is the first of a series I’m calling “Through the Fire” . It centers around my own life in real time and just a few details that led me to this point. Some good decisions, some bad, and many lessons hidden beneath it all. Life is more than just what’s on the surface. A lot of who we become is discovered in our dark seasons of life. They are both painful yet crucial for growth and so it is very important to take the time to sit with it and see what God may be showing you about yourself. God is a relational being , he like many of us, value companionship and that is the relationship he has been and is calling us into with him. Because he’s a father , he’s very concerned about WHO we are and not just WHAT we have. Life slowly but surely becomes clearer when we have the right focus. I hope this episode provides some comfort and clarity for those listening. That things just aren’t what they seem. Join me as we find ourselves through the fires of life.

This episode includes and covers a very small portion yet significant part of the human experience by challenging the listener to analyze self and the truth that comes with healing. It also asks you to acknowledge your perspective and how it also plays a role in your healing process. Perspective is everything and it’s important for you to accept that as part of not only your journey towards healing, but as a major part of the human experience.

Hey Evolutionary! In this episode we are challenging the perspective of the popular hashtag #NewYearNewMe! What I’d like us to do is stay focused on the process instead of the outcome. Many of us are obsessed with the boundaries we set on ourselves and setting each goal into a time frame, however when it doesn’t happen within that time frame we’re forced into shame and self doubt. The truth is you can accomplish anything you want, but can you sustain those accomplishments without carefully studying the lessons? Growth takes work , there’s no perfect road. It’s whether or not we are willing to do the work to ensure that our road meets the ultimate destination!

Hey Evolutionary! This episode is a very transparent episode for me. What I am doing is sharing what it’s like to be in the mist of your storms and the feelings that may come forth. Ultimately I want us to be able to share our tough experiences so that when we evolve , we are able to understand where we’ve come from. The journey towards bettering yourself is NOT always easy and it’s important that we share that even in the mist of the process.
