Michelle has been with Mid-America Events & Expos since its inception, and with parent company Kocina Marketing Companies since 1992. She is responsible for coordinating staff and event planning, setting up venues, communicating with clients and prospects, developing and selling sponsorship packages, and bringing in new event business. Her specialty is in organizing and managing successful corporate events and consumer expos, with an emphasis on client relations. She is an integral part of the management team that ensures quality service to all clients. In 2009, Michelle won the very prestigious Show Manager of the Year (SMOTY) award. This national award honored Michelle for her innovative practices, premier customer service, commitment to success and ability to overcome obstacles. Roddie has been instrumental in developing and implementing Mid-America’s consumer events and expos. In addition, her corporate clients include Prudential, Cargill, Malt-O-Meal, HB Foundation, Women Venture and World Championship of Fantasy Football.
