According to a recent update from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russia continues to conduct massive, forced deportations of Ukrainians that likely amount to a deliberate ethnic cleansing campaign in addition to apparent violations of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Russian authorities may additionally be engaged in a wider campaign of ethnic cleansing by depopulating Ukrainian territory through deportations and repopulating Ukrainian cities with imported Russian citizens.

In the fall of 2022, 49.0% of survey respondents felt that revenue in the next sixth months will be higher than today. This percentage is lower than the sentiment on this metric in the summer of 2022 (54.8%) and may represent a chilling in current optimism toward positive revenue expectations for the fourth quarter of 2022. Additionally, only 30.0% of survey respondents felt that profits will be higher in six months than they are today. This is a marked decrease from the summer of 2022 when 38.4% of respondents estimated profits to be higher in six months.
