Edmontonians, be more prepared in case of fire!!
Smoke detectors are the best fire safety measure, but for a small investment why not take the next step. Get a fire extinguisher!! It should be an important part of your home fire safety plan. A fire extinguisher can help fight a small fire before it spreads through your home. It may also help control a fire until the fire department arrives.
Host LeRoy Warden of Edmonton Real Estate Today and Chris Bottriell of Alberta Property Inspection Ltd discusses how many fire extinguishers you should have in your home and where they should be located.
Hey Edmonton, we recommend that you have a good home fire evacuation plan that all household members know about. We also recommend that you ONLY fight a fire if you are confident in doing so, that you have already called 911 and ensured that all household members are out of the house. Please pay careful attention to your own safety.
