James (now emeraldfoxfire, formerly grumpel92_ttv) returns to the podcast to help Woz explain to Jerid what streamteams are and what they are for.
Fresh after a Mini Meetup at the new venue, Greta, our intrepid hosts share their experiences and where they think the meetups will go from here. Then they go wildly offtopic. Weee!
Should the Edmonton Twitch Community start up its own streamteam? Let us know what you think!
Another TwitchCon has come and went. Dan (AngryZellersTV) returns to explain his experience and how it compared to his expectations.
ExtraLife Game Day is November 2! Be sure to tune into your favourite (very tired) streamers and donate for the kids!

Twitchcon is right around the corner. Woz teams up with Maeg (SimplyMaeg) and Dan (AngryZellersTV) to go over some survival tips and how to get the most of the convention. Jerid is MIA for this episode because he has never been to Twitchcon and will not be able to go until 2022. RIP.
We summoned Spliffrite from the Ether to explain all the wacky devices and tools he has at his disposal and how they can be used to personalize your stream and make it truly memorable. Yah yeet.

Snackless is in a unique situation. She's a full time partnered streamer, while also maintaining a career as a teacher. It's possible to have it all, but it requires self-discipline and some sacrifice.
In addition to that, she's been active with charities such as Extra Life and St. Jude's for some time now. We took some questions from Twitter to learn more about these charities and how we can get involved.
Jerid, Woz and James (grumpel92_ttv) discuss their own experiences with burnout and go over strategies for prevention and how to get back into streaming after an extended absence. We end up mentioning "energy" a lot.
Now that the summer Meetup has passed, Jerid and Woz are joined by Mitch (BoomBoomRobot) to discuss how people visiting your stream can be convinced to hit that Follow button. We talk about how the Meetup went, what makes our streams unique, and the tools and tactics you can use to stand out from the crowd and get noticed.
This week we performed a dark ritual to summon our Assistant Community Manager, Shicara (DarlingMissNyx). A a manager of both an IRL community as well as her own online community, Shicara is in a unique position to have some spicy hot takes about the importance of surrounding yourself with likeminded people.
Local and online communities can impact one another and make streaming even more enjoyable for newbies and veterans alike. That's why you should RSVP for the Summer Community Meetup on June 15, coming to an Edmonton near you!
Award-winning creative streamer James (ARTSYFARTSY) takes us on a journey of pure imagination... into the world of creative Twitch streams. Turns out there's more to Twitch than Fortnite! Amazing!
In addition to learning about about James' artistic origins, we also get a better understanding of the vision he has for his channel and where he wants to take it, and the importance of creative variety on Twitch's rapidly growing platform.
