Many in the business world (myself included) get too excited about the next new shiny idea without following through on our previous ideas. This episode will examine that idea and give some practicality to how you can incorporate new ideas while ALSO continuing to grow your existing ones.
At the end of the day, it's not about trying new things. It's about the attitude in which you pursue those new things.

Networking IS important. But it does not have to look like what you may imagine it... Going to large conferences to schmooze, or hitting the golf course with "power players." In fact, you will have MORE success by being yourself.
Networking becomes much more effective when you do these 3 things:
1. Be direct with where and how you need help.
2. Be direct and gracious with where and how you can help others.
3. You network in the means and ways that you are comfortable and confident.
Don't be someone you are not. Up your networking game with clarity and focus.

Ross Loveland of Grow Green Profits joins me to talk about the fear many educators have of charging for and valuing the services they provide.
Ross is the Founder and Chief Profit Strategist of his company, Grow Green Profit Advisors. After years of working at a multibillion-dollar company with 10,000 plus employees, Ross knew he wanted to have more of a direct impact on the world. That’s when Grow Green was started and it was based on two beliefs. Number one is that small businesses are essential to our communities and to our economy. Number two is that the small business lifestyle can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be.
Ross and Grow Green Profit Advisors specialize in working with educational consultants, helping them to achieve their purpose and make a bigger impact.
