Hear about positive developments on several fronts: Port workers and educators have formed an alliance to stop school closures and the privatization of the Oakland Port.  The West Contra Costa School Board stood up the Fiscal Crisis Management and Assistance Team (FCMAT) regusing to send out lay-off notices to Richmond teachers.   And billionaire Fisher’s privatization of the Port got a set-back from a committee that protects the Bay and the Port.
