I have had the great privilege of knowing Jordy for nearly two decades when he began his career as a teacher.  Watching his journey in education from near and far, I have seen Jordy rise to the call for educational equity.

In today's episode Larisa shares her career journey as a mom and educator who teaches in the art of STEM and who is moving mountains for her students when it comes to the courses she offers in the small town of Rifle, CO.

When Covid-19 hit, he started providing interactive learning experiences on Zoom to help people go deeper in the work. 

Amplify RJ envisions an equitable world where people use Restorative Justice practices in all relationships to meet the needs of their communities and exists to teach people the origins, philosophy, practices, and values of Restorative Justice by sharing knowledge across digital platforms, providing interactive learning experiences, and connecting people doing the work in various contexts around the world. And while David's reach is wide, he is providing a particular focus on the education system!

Mariah Brobbey is an 8 year veteran educator AND... became a mama approximately two years ago. In this episode, I share with you four foundational MUST HAVE skills to support novice teachers’ success. And by novice, I mean both brand new teachers and perhaps those who didn’t quite have the first year they had hoped.

I have seen these foundational skills work time and time again and I still use them to this day despite my “seasoned” time in classrooms and in schools.  In fact, I come back to these skills when I cover a classroom or even when I am at a birthday party with my boys and I need to keep a large group of young people safe!
