Satenik Khachatryan is a researcher in Early childhood education and care, with an experience in child protection and community development. She is an Erasmus Mundus Joint MA program alumna and shares her research done during her master studies in Sweden. She describes the method of photovoice that helped her explore the role of the native language in bilingual children in Sweden.

What do you do to protect your research participants who are vulnerable? In this episode, we talk to a researcher from the International Center for Human Development, Kristina Sargsyan, who reflects on her experience of working over a project where she had to set up a focus group with women who were victims of domestic violence. As we talk, she shares the dilemmas she was facing, the emotional toll she carried and the strategies she developed alongside.
