A guy named Edward with scissors for hands gets adopted by a suburban Avon lady. After taking him into her house, the whole town is fascinated with him and wants to be around him. Once the novelty of this weird guy with scissors for hands wears off the town rejects him and chases him back to his spooky mansion on the hill where he kills a kid in self defense and finds true love only to realize it can never be real because he has scissors for hands.
