Edward White | Audio Thoughts

In this episode, I speak to Sophia Carey who is a creative based in London & Manchester.

I came across Sophia from her amazing YouTube content that she creates and I love her passion for what she does. She gives some amazing advice for people considering a creative career and I think lots of people will find it useful.

Excited for you to take a listen and this one and it would mean so much if you could leave a review.

I wanted to say my reasons for starting a candle brand and the motivations behind it, and please understand if you want to do anything then you can!

What could you do to be the best possible version of yourself...   It is something that I feel more of us need to think about and something that I think would bring a lot more happiness to the world.   What is something you could like to improve about yourself?

You need to do the reps and put in the hours...

To me starting a business is exactly like going to the gym, you feel energetic and excited at first and then it starts to get boring and a little bit stagnant.   This is exactly the same for business, it feels good to begin with and you're really excited but then life comes along and that initial energy has dwindled away.

Ultimately if you want to see any results you need to put in the work and persevere.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work" - Thomas Edison  You can never fail at anything you do. If something you do doesn't work out you get that lesson to use for anything you do in the future and that is worth so much more than being right all the time.   Be optimistic and keep going - you've got this!

In this episode, I speak to Rod Hebden from New Elements.

This was recorded back in March 2020 and we covered a lot of different aspects, from building your own business and dealing with projects and the importance of building your network. I have picked up some new books and new thoughts and I hope that you do too.

Excited for you to take a listen and this one and it would mean so much if you could leave a review.

Over the last week, I have been helping my family in their business with the bookings and reception at their barbers and it reminded me of working at a service-based job.  I really do think that it is something that everyone should do at least once in their lives, as it will give you valuable experience that you won't really get anywhere else.

Should you work for free...   This is something that I struggled with when I first started my agency and started on the creative journey, it was something that I really struggled with - on one hand, you want to and need to make money and then on the other you want to get your name out there and build your portfolio.

I hope that this podcast helps and gives you a little insight into what you're doing and can give you a little bit of direction.

In this episode, I speak to Andy Napleton from A.napleton Film.

I really enjoyed listening back to this episode and I genuinely think that it will help a lot of people throughout 2020 and beyond, some really practical advice on stepping back from your work and letting the process happen

Excited for you to take a listen and this one and it would mean so much if you could leave a review.

This book has had a huge impact on my life especially at this moment in time with everything that is going on (Coronavirus).   It really helped a workaholic like myself put what I am doing into perspective and feeling that my work is having an impact.

I hope that it can help you in some way.
