I wanted to say my reasons for starting a candle brand and the motivations behind it, and please understand if you want to do anything then you can!

What could you do to be the best possible version of yourself...   It is something that I feel more of us need to think about and something that I think would bring a lot more happiness to the world.   What is something you could like to improve about yourself?

You need to do the reps and put in the hours...   

To me starting a business is exactly like going to the gym, you feel energetic and excited at first and then it starts to get boring and a little bit stagnant.   This is exactly the same for business, it feels good to begin with and you're really excited but then life comes along and that initial energy has dwindled away.   

Ultimately if you want to see any results you need to put in the work and persevere.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work" - Thomas Edison  You can never fail at anything you do. If something you do doesn't work out you get that lesson to use for anything you do in the future and that is worth so much more than being right all the time.   Be optimistic and keep going - you've got this!

Over the last week, I have been helping my family in their business with the bookings and reception at their barbers and it reminded me of working at a service-based job.  I really do think that it is something that everyone should do at least once in their lives, as it will give you valuable experience that you won't really get anywhere else.

Should you work for free...   This is something that I struggled with when I first started my agency and started on the creative journey, it was something that I really struggled with - on one hand, you want to and need to make money and then on the other you want to get your name out there and build your portfolio.   

I hope that this podcast helps and gives you a little insight into what you're doing and can give you a little bit of direction.
