In episode 75 I explore the veteran's state of mind. I’ve recently lost another Ranger buddy by his own hands. This continues to plague the veteran’s community at an astonishing rate. It's Veterans Day as I record this, and although it won’t air for a few weeks, I think it's important to honor our veterans and help unpack why so many service members continue to face demons years and years after military service. I am open and honest in this episode about the path that I walked and some of the struggles that I have personally endured. I hope the struggles and the methods I used to navigate those times will inspire others to put in the work and change the trajectory of their lives. EE 075: The Veteran’s State of Mind

What's up guys, my name is Greg Anderson, and after spending a decade in the Special Operations/Para-Military community and 14 overseas deployments, I pursued a new career in Law Enforcement with the interest in putting the deployment lifestyle behind me.

In light of so many events in 2020 regarding law enforcement I decided to speak up on the behalf of the profession and it ultimately cost me my job, but because of this I’ve taken my life in a new direction and one of my pursuits is launching this podcast!

The Endless Endeavor Podcasts was created with the understanding that life is a continuous and arduous journey. I’ve learned that the only way I can grow and develop as a human is maintaining an understanding that there is always a lot to learn and preserve a curiosity across a wide spectrum of interests. 

Through this journey of life I have had the honor to walk amongst giants and look forward to bringing our listeners quality content on a variety of topics.

We will be delving into military operations, jiu jitsu and martial arts, liberty and freedom, tactical proficiency, health and wellness, overcoming depression and PTSD, leadership and team dynamics, parenting, law enforcement and so much more.

In Episode 201 I sit down with Austin Johnson and John Fontaine from North Idaho Archery. I love this story because it’s a tale of striving for something bigger and pursuing your passions. Both men are combat veterans and former police officers. They were inspired by my story of building a new career path post law enforcement and wanted to pursue their passion for archery as a viable career. They left behind the security of a paycheck and benefits and embarked into the unknown as new entrepreneurs with one mission in mind, enrich our community through our passion for archery. Law enforcement is a great profession for many as you’ll hear us discuss in this episode, but it’s important to build a path towards something new once the fire inside of you has burned out. Don’t be the cop staying inside the profession to simply chase your pension. Life is short and is meant to be lived! In Episode 200 I sit down with Kirk Davis. Kirk is part of an organization titled the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound (or CAMPS). One of CAMPS main missions is assisting veterans in the transition from active duty to civilian life by assisting them in finding employment inside of the civilian workforce within the manufacturing industry. It’s an honorable mission and a valuable resource for veterans, so I jumped at the chance to have him on the show. We discussed his program in detail, but then discuss many other aspects of leadership, teamwork, professional development so much more. I really enjoyed spending these two hours with Kirk. In Episode 197 I sit down with former Snohomish County Sheriff Adam Fortney. I’ve looked forward to this episode for quite some time because I believe Adam’s leadership and common-sense approach as sheriff may have dramatically changed the trajectory of my life. He refused to enforce COVID lockdown measures in the county which I live and operate my business. In a time where many small business owners ended up in handcuffs, that wasn’t happening here in Snohomish County, and I want to thank him again for choosing the hard right over the easy wrong. Showing courage in the face of tyranny will never be forgotten by many of us. When he stood up against the political elite, he painted a target on his back which all ensured they’d make sure his run as sheriff was a short one. He’s a great man and I’m proud to now call him a friend.
